241 - Gallery Café
An old Masonic Lodge put to alternate use
as a Sydney-styled café. The Lodge affords great views west up
the Bellinger Valley and often exhibits quality local paintings and sculpture.
The local Chess Club welcomes all comers on lazy Sunday afternoons, starting
1pm.

This licensed or BYO restaurant is Bellingen's
best à la carte dining. Sit inside in front of the fire during winter

Old Butter Factory
If you're really hungry, this is the place
for you. Every meal is a small mountain. Service is fast and efficient.
The view is west over the golf course toward the mountains. The Butter
Factory complex is home to numerous craft shops which you may wish to
browse.
The Valley Lodge Restaurant
The tables and chairs are Red Cedar and were collected from the old Adams and Mayfair hotels in Sydney. The enormous ceiling beams are of mahogany from the forests of the Dorrigo Plateau, the stones of the fireplace come from the Bellinger River and the photographs and treasures displayed around the walls were donated by the descendants of the earliest settlers in the valley.

The Blue Fig
Small and smart, The Blue Fig restaurant is
nestled in the main street of Sawtell directly opposite beautiful Morton
Bay Fig trees.
The restaurant seats only a
handful of people, serves modern cuisine and does a sideline in kitchen
and cookware. With back to back hospitality and food awards The
Blue Fig is a dining experience not to be missed. Book well ahead to be
sure of a table.

One door down from The Blue Fig, Olive Oly's
offers excellent gourmet pizza and pasta dishes. BYO wine, choose a spot
